Spiritual Care

At Bethesda, spiritual care is an important part of the care we provide, as we strive to enrich all aspects of life for those we serve, including body, mind and spirit.

Pastor Mary, Pastor Dan, and Pastor Grant lead weekly Sunday worship services for our residents, offering a meaningful time of reflection, prayer, and fellowship. Services are held at 9:00 AM for Sunrise Village residents and 10:15 AM for Bethesda Grand and Club Suites residents, both in Carrie’s Chapel at Bethesda Grand, and at 1:30 PM for Bethesda North Pointe residents.

All are welcome to join these uplifting gatherings and connect in faith.

Bethesda's Online Worship

Bethesda residents and community members can enjoy worship services and spiritual care videos every Sunday morning at 8:30 AM on YouTube and Facebook. These prerecorded videos share the same meaningful message as the live Sunday morning service, offering an option for those unable to attend in person. Featuring scripture readings and songs shared by our pastoral team, they provide a chance to reflect, connect, and be inspired.
Pastor’s Corner

Bible study and music

Each neighborhood has Pastor’s Corner once a week when our three pastors spend time delving into God’s Word expanding on the scripture readings from the Sunday prior. Each Pastor’s Corner is about 30 minutes long and includes prayer, scripture readings, reflections, and music.

“The Bethesda Chaplain team feels like family—welcoming, caring, and always there to support us. We can attend services and Bible studies together, ask questions freely, and connect with other residents in a way that feels natural.

– Karen D.

Pastoral care and office hours

Our chaplains visit with residents and provide spiritual care to all those who seek their presence and support.

In addition to providing Pastor’s Corner, our chaplains visit with residents and tenants on a one-to-one basis to offer encouragement, prayer, and support throughout all Bethesda locations.

Bethesda distributes “Our Daily Bread” devotional books to each resident who desires one and also offers New Testaments and Bibles for those who would like a copy.

The Chaplains also distribute prayer shawls to those who desire one. We are blessed to have volunteers make the prayer shawls for us which share love, comfort, and hope.

For pastoral information or assistance, please contact our chaplains by email at [email protected], or by telephone at (320) 214-5671.
