BETHESDA CLUB SUITES RANKED THIRD IN STATE FOR CARE QUALITY

Willmar, Minn. – Bethesda Club Suites continues Bethesda’s ongoing recognition for the quality of care by ranking as the third-highest performing short-stay skilled nursing facility in the state according to the most recent release of the Minnesota Quality Indicators for Short-Stay Residents distributed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Ashley Bormann, administrator for Bethesda Grand and Club Suites highlighted this as not only an accomplishment for Bethesda but our local community and rural Minnesota as a whole. “Oftentimes, people feel that they need to travel to larger metro areas to access the highest quality of care, but that is not the case. When in fact, some of the highest quality of care exists right here in Willmar, Minnesota and it is delivered by smiles you know and neighbors you can depend on. At Bethesda, we continue to demonstrate the benefits of care close to home through high-quality rankings and ratings from state and federal programs.”

Bethesda continues to maintain its ranking among the top 5-percent for quality of care for skilled nursing facilities for long-stay residents, as well as its 5-star Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services rating. Bormann credited Bethesda’s approach to quality improvement and patient-focused environment design and services as key factors that continue to advance the quality of care and quality of life for all those who use short-stay rehabilitation services at Bethesda Club Suites.

The areas evaluated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services to establish each nursing facilities’ quality ranking include pain management, skin care, rehospitalization from the facility, and rehospitalizations rates following discharge. Bethesda’s evaluation scored 99.27  out of 100 and ranked third-best among 360 Minnesota short-stay skilled nursing facilities.

“We know that none of this would be possible were it not for the remarkable team of nursing, therapy, personal care, and support professionals who serve at Bethesda,” said Bormann.
